About Me…
There are people with the name of Gerry Humphrey. This site is about one of them.
Ever since I saw my first Magnavox Odyssey video game system I have been hooked on computers.
I used to go down to the local Byte Shop and play with the Altair and the Apple I.
I got my first personal computer in 1978. A TRS-80 Level II computer.
Later I got more and more computers, but my favorite was the TRS-80 Color Computer due to the 6809 chipset. I got a job being a video game programmer and released 2 games on the ‘CoCo’
I later got involved with the Amiga and the Atari ST, as well as the Macintosh.
I pretty much settled into the PC world, doing some VB.NET programming as well as ASP and ASP.NET development.
From Access to MS SQL, I really do like the Microsoft technologies overall, yet, I do also work on PHP and MySQL based websites (such as this one.)
My background is varied from development to management, from programming to marketing.
